In Loving Memory

Funeral Service, as recorded on January 27, 2024 at 10:00am from
St. Peter Claver Roman Catholic Church in Montclair, NJ.

Marie Antoinette Lily Sicard, 71 Montclair, NJ passed away on January 18, 2024, at home.

Born on May 21, 1930 to the late parents: M. Sicard & Therese Auguste, she was the third of three children raised very close to one another.

At the age of 19, she started working, at 22 met my father and 2 years later I was born. With the support of my father, she then stopped working. As soon as I reached school age, Lily returned to work, but this time to become a self entrepreneur in the tourism industry where she had two shops selling souvenirs & embroidery design dresses & shirts to the tourists.

Upon the passing of my father, my beloved mother became the sole parent, role that she took very seriously by making sure I do not lack of anything, from finishing my high school years to university (home & abroad).

Later, I have seen that very independant person very determined to make in Canada despite the very cold Winter.

My mother has contributed in the education of others through foundations and also direct contributions.

Lily leaves her only daughter and dear friends to mourn her passing and celebrate her wonderful life.
